"PREACHING THE ACTS 2:38 MESSAGE TO MEXICO"
They taught Bible studies and they began to see the outpouring of God’s Spirit. After holding services in the living room of one of the families in the church for a few months, Bro. Loa saw the need to build a sanctuary. The Loa’s invested the little savings they had to see a church building erected. The Lord moved on the hearts of five of the men in the church, and they also made a sacrifice of $500 U.S. dollars each to help build the church building. Pastor Noe Treviño did not hesitate to help and to appeal to others to join in on the venture. Within a short time, they completed the construction of church building. Pastor Treviño, Pastor Vandy Pope (Cartersville, GA), and Pastor Julio May (Memphis, TN) were all in attendance at the dedication services.
Through the years, many pastors and ministers have taken the time and made the sacrifice to visit the work that God is doing in Toluca. After each visit, the church in Toluca experiences a renewed and greater vision.
It is evident that the church has experienced growth. As a result, their current church building has reached maximum capacity. The Loa’s are actively looking for property in Toluca to build another church building.
The apostle Paul wrote to the Church in Corinth, “But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” (I Cor. 16:8-9) Paul was experiencing great revival, but it was not without opposition! Since the Loa’s arrival in Toluca, Mexico, a great door and effectual has been opened. The proof is in the souls. However, there has also been much opposition. But as long as the Gospel is being preached and the Lord keeps adding to the church such as should be saved, then the sacrifice is all worth it!
Please continue to pray for the Loa’s and the work in Toluca, Mexico.
